Authorized Service Technician Course 

Southern Avionics’ Authorized Field Technician training course offers a practical and comprehensive study of the Non-Directional Beacon transmitter system. Topics include:

• NDB Background and Familiarization
• Antenna and NDB Theory
• Installation and Operation
• Setup and Calibration
• Troubleshooting

The SAC instructors are the engineers and technicians who handle all aspects of our NDB systems from design and manufacturing to installation and customer support. This allows SAC to deliver custom instruction and maximize the value the training course provides.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, a Certificate of Training is issued to each student.

Operator Training Course 

Operator training is designed specifically for your instructional need on your Non-Directional Beacon transmitter system to include:

• NDB Background and Familiarization
• Antenna and NDB Theory
• Transmitter and ATU Operation
• Setup and Calibration
