Southern Avionics announces a procurement of QTY Fourteen 500 Watt NDBs by the Airports Authority...
With local partner Balkantel, SAC completes a turn-key NDB Project for the Bulgarian Civil Aviation Authority BULATSA.
The turnkey project included the removal of existing outdated equipment and replacement with our 125 Watt Transmitters, PC1000/C4 Antenna Tuning Units, and Remote Control Units.
In 2020, Southern Avionics was awarded a procurement for a quantity of six SE125 Dual IP NDBs by BULATSA but the Covid-19 pandemic began in the midst of this project so implementation was delayed.
We had to work very closely and carefully with BULATSA, and our partner Balkantel to coordinate and handle the deliveries, SAT, re-installation, installations, flight checks, and, site acceptance tests and commissioning.
The Balkantel Sites are noted as: BOZ, DWN, GNA, KMN, WAK.
We are providing an extended warranty and look forward to working with BULATSA for their future requirements.
